Marvel’s next major crossover event is officially extending to gaming setups and movie theater concession stands.
Ahead of Avengers: Doomsday, new merchandise collections featuring Doctor Doom and The Thin are making their way to retail. Accessory maker Cable Guys has debuted a pair of functional 8.5-inch phone and controller holders designed for desks, entertainment centers, and gaming rigs.
Crafted to support controllers across PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch platforms alongside most modern smartphones, the sculpted figures give fans a practical way to display their devices while promoting the upcoming film.
The figures have already surfaced at major retailers, appearing as an exclusive two-pack at Costco and as standalone releases at Smyths Toys. Toy news outlet @mcucollector24 shared a first look on Instagram, confirming that the officially licensed figures feature character designs directly inspired by their appearances in Avengers: Doomsday.
Avengers: Doomsday is gearing up for more merch, including popcorn buckets
The controller holders are not the only collectibles arriving ahead of the movie. As per a recent update shared by @MCUFilmNews on X, Avengers: Doomsday has also received theater merchandise inspired by Doctor Doom, including a sculpted popcorn bucket and a throne-inspired cup.
One popcorn bucket takes the shape of Doctor Doom’s metal faceplate, complete with his signature green hood and glowing green eyes. Another design features his full-body image and comes with a matching coin. The throne-style cup features Doom seated at its base, with green accents and Avengers and Fantastic Four logos.
These items give fans different ways to celebrate the villain ahead of his next Marvel appearance. The film stars Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom and is scheduled to hit the theaters on December 18, 2026. Fans can look forward to more gaming accessories and movie collectibles in the coming days.
