A Bloody Lucky Day (2023)

I generally like South Korean series but A Bloody Lucky day, just didn't hold my attention. The biggest short coming of this series is it didn't feel like you typical, intelligent, Korean series. The down to earth edginess was absent replaced by a story that almost felt like a US production, with simplistic scripting, to match. The main character is annoyingly over positive, in a way that's just not believable, given his difficult circumstances. What comes after he meets a serial killer, stretches credulity to breaking point. Cops who tasked with catching the bad guy are careless and incompetent, the killer is reckless and over the top. In short, this series is absurd and rather stupid, which is not the norm for Korean productions. As such, it is, unsurprisingly, not terribly watchable, either.
